Who we are

This website is operated by Gimmax Media Axion Limited ("Gimmax", "we"), based in Lagos,Nigeria. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site. You can reach us at hello@gimmax.com.

What we collect

Contact form. When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number if given, the service you are interested in, an indicative budget if given, and your message.

Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard connection information (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in order to deliver the site securely and to protect it from abuse. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss work with you. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • To keep the site secure and available. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a safe website.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use enquiry details for marketing unless you ask us to keep in touch.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered to us by email through Cloudflare, which acts as our processor. We do not share your details with anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or for the duration of any engagement and the period afterwards required for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@gimmax.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes

We will update this notice if our practices change. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
